Far away, where the hills meet the stars, there lived a little child named Theo.
Theo loved to watch the sky.
Every evening, Theo and Willow the bear cub would sit on the soft grass and look up at the clouds drifting by.
Willow's fur was warm and golden, perfect for leaning against.
One quiet evening, the sky turned the softest shade of pink.
Theo noticed something special…
A cloud shaped just like a little boat was floating down, down, down toward them.
"Look, Willow," Theo whispered.
The cloud boat landed as gently as a feather on the grass.
It shimmered silver in the fading light.
Willow sniffed it and gave a soft, sleepy huff.
Theo reached out and touched the cloud.
It felt cool and silky, like touching the moon.
"Should we climb in?" Theo wondered.
The cloud boat rocked gently, as if it were saying yes.
So Theo climbed in, and Willow curled up close beside them.
The cloud boat lifted softly into the sky.
Up they floated, slow and easy.
The air smelled like rain and honey.
Below them, the world grew small and peaceful.
"We're sailing through the sky," Theo said softly.
The cloud boat drifted past other clouds, each one soft as cotton.
Some were shaped like sleeping animals.
Some were shaped like gentle waves.
Willow yawned and nuzzled closer.
Then Theo saw it…
A rainbow, glowing faintly in the evening light.
But this rainbow wasn't far away.
It was close, like a bridge made of soft colors.
"We're sailing through the sky," Theo whispered again.
The cloud boat floated right through the rainbow.
First the red—warm as a cozy blanket.
Then the orange—gentle as candlelight.
Yellow felt like sunshine on Theo's face.
Green smelled like fresh grass after rain.
Blue was cool and calm.
Purple wrapped around them like a soft lullaby.
Willow's breathing grew slower and deeper.
Theo felt so peaceful, so safe.
The cloud boat drifted lower now, carrying them back toward home.
The stars were beginning to blink awake.
The moon smiled down at them.
"We're sailing through the sky," Theo murmured, eyes growing heavy.
The cloud boat landed on the soft grass, right where they'd started.
But now the world felt even cozier, even quieter.
Theo and Willow climbed out and walked slowly back inside.
Theo's bed was waiting, warm and welcoming.
Willow curled up at the foot of the bed.
Through the window, the silver cloud boat drifted up again, waving goodbye.
Theo pulled the blanket close.
The room smelled like rain and honey.
Outside, the sky was full of soft, sleepy clouds.
And as Theo's eyes closed, they could still feel the gentle rocking of the cloud boat…
Sailing through the sky…
Sailing into dreams.
