Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Sleepfox account and the data associated with it. Sleepfox is a bedtime-story app for families, managed by a parent or guardian who holds the account.

How to delete your account (in the app)

Account deletion is done inside the Sleepfox app, where you are securely signed in — so only the account’s owner can delete it. No email request is needed.

1. Open the Sleepfox app and make sure you are signed in.

2. Open Settings (tap the settings icon at the top-right of the Home screen).

3. Scroll to the 'Account' section.

4. Tap 'Delete account'.

5. Confirm on the prompt. Your account and its data are permanently deleted immediately.

What data is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes: your account and email address, all child profiles you created (first names/nicknames and ages), any custom voice recordings you enrolled, your saved stories and favorites, your story-personalization preferences, and your device notification tokens.

What data is kept, and for how long

We may retain a limited record of purchases and transactions (for example, subscription or star-pack receipts) where we are required to for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. These records do not include your full payment card details (payments are handled by Google Play). Such records are kept only as long as legally required and are then deleted.

Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a short period and are purged within 30 days.

If you can’t sign in

If you’ve lost access to your account and can’t reach the in-app Delete option, open the in-app Contact page and tell us. We will confirm that you own the account (using the email address registered to it) before deleting anything, so no one can delete an account that isn’t theirs.
