Sleepfox is a bedtime-story app made for families. We care about protecting your privacy and your child’s. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Sleepfox is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. Account creation, purchases, and settings are behind a parent area. Children are meant to listen to stories, not to create accounts or make purchases.
Account information: your email address when you sign in with email or Google.
Child profile information you choose to add: a first name or nickname and preferences used to personalize stories. Please do not enter sensitive information.
Stories and content: the story prompts you enter and the stories generated for your family so we can save them to your library.
Voice recordings: if you choose to create a custom narration voice, the voice sample you record so we can generate narration in that voice.
Purchase information: records of subscriptions or star packs you buy. Payments are processed by Google Play — we do not receive your full card details.
Notification token: if you enable notifications, a device push token so we can tell you when a new story is ready.
Basic technical data: limited logs needed to operate and secure the service.
We use it to create and save personalized stories, deliver audio, manage your account and purchases, send story notifications you opt into, provide support, and keep the service safe and reliable. We do not sell your or your child’s personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Stories and narration are produced using automated AI services. The prompt and personalization details you provide are sent to these processing services solely to generate your story.
We use trusted providers to run Sleepfox, including cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), push notifications (Google Firebase), sign-in and payments (Google), and AI text and voice services. They process data only to provide their part of the service.
We keep your account, library, and purchase records while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time using the contact below.
You can edit or remove child profiles, turn notifications off in your device or app settings, and request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.
We designed Sleepfox to minimize data about children. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from a child than is needed to personalize a story, and we do not show behavioral ads to children. If you believe a child provided us information you want removed, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
You can permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time, right inside the app: open Settings, go to the Account section, and tap 'Delete account.' Because you are signed in, only you can delete your own account. Full details are at https://sleepfox.dofolabs.space/delete-account.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
