Once upon a time, a kind fisherman lived by the sparkling sea.
Every morning, he rowed his little boat out to catch fish.
One day, his net felt very heavy.
He pulled and pulled…
And up came an old brass bottle, covered in seaweed.
The fisherman wiped it clean.
A cork sealed the top.
He tugged the cork free…
And out poured a cloud of shimmering, silvery smoke.
The smoke grew bigger and bigger…
Until it became a jinni, tall as the sky.
"I have been trapped for so long," the jinni rumbled softly.
The fisherman's heart beat fast, but he spoke kindly.
"Hello, friend. I'm glad you're free now."
The jinni looked down at the little fisherman.
"You freed me," the jinni said, his voice growing gentler.
"I was so angry in that bottle… but you were kind."
The fisherman smiled up at him.
"Everyone deserves kindness," he said.
The jinni's eyes softened.
He had forgotten what kindness felt like.
"You have a good heart," the jinni whispered.
"I will grant you a wish, as a thank you."
The fisherman thought for a moment.
"I wish for enough fish to feed my family," he said quietly.
The jinni waved his hand…
And the fisherman's net filled with beautiful, shining fish.
"Thank you, friend," the fisherman said warmly.
The jinni smiled for the first time in many, many years.
"No… thank you," he said softly.
The jinni began to fade into gentle mist.
"I will watch over your sea," he promised.
"And your nets will always find enough."
The fisherman rowed home as the sun set, painting the water gold and pink.
His family was so happy to see the fish.
They cooked a warm dinner together.
That night, the fisherman lay in his cozy bed.
Through the window, he could see the peaceful sea.
Somewhere out there, the jinni was free…
And the fisherman smiled, knowing he had made a friend.
The stars twinkled softly over the quiet water.
The waves whispered gentle lullabies.
And the fisherman drifted off to sleep…
Dreaming of the sparkling sea…
And the kind jinni who watched over it…
Safe and warm and loved…
