Once upon a time, there was a kind little tailor who lived in a cozy cottage.
He sat at his workbench, sewing soft cloth into beautiful things.
One warm afternoon, he made himself a sweet jam sandwich.
He took a tiny bite and smiled.
But seven little flies landed on his sandwich, buzzing softly.
The tailor gently shooed them away with one soft swish of his hand.
"Seven with one try!" he said, feeling quite proud.
He decided to sew the words on a soft blue belt.
"Seven at once," it said in golden thread.
The little tailor put on his belt and walked into the wide world.
He climbed a gentle hill, humming a quiet tune.
At the top, he met a big, sleepy giant sitting under a tree.
The giant yawned and looked down at the tailor's belt.
"Seven at once?" the giant read slowly.
He thought the tailor meant seven giants, not seven flies.
"You must be very strong," the giant said softly.
"Let's see who is stronger," the giant said in a friendly way.
He picked up a smooth stone and squeezed it gently until a little water dripped out.
The tailor smiled and reached into his pocket.
He pulled out a soft piece of cheese.
He squeezed it, and creamy drops fell like rain.
"Oh my," the giant whispered, impressed.
The giant picked up a pebble and tossed it high into the sky.
It came down softly into the grass.
The tailor reached into his other pocket and found a little bird resting there.
He tossed the bird up gently, and it spread its wings…
It flew away into the clouds and never came down.
"You win," the giant said with a sleepy yawn.
The giant invited the tailor to stay in his cozy cave.
They shared warm soup and soft bread.
The tailor told gentle stories by the firelight.
The giant's eyes grew heavy and he drifted off to sleep.
In the morning, the tailor continued down the road.
He came to a peaceful kingdom with a pretty castle.
The king heard about the "seven at once" and was amazed.
"You must be the bravest tailor in all the land," the king said kindly.
The king asked the tailor to help with a small problem.
A grumpy old dragon lived in the forest and wouldn't share the berries.
The tailor walked softly into the woods.
He found the dragon napping under a shady tree, snoring gently.
The tailor sat down and began to hum a sweet lullaby.
The dragon opened one sleepy eye.
"That's a lovely song," the dragon whispered.
"Would you teach it to me?" the tailor asked softly.
They hummed together as the sun set golden and warm.
The dragon decided to share the berries after all.
Everyone in the kingdom was happy and grateful.
The king gave the tailor a little cottage with a garden.
The tailor sewed beautiful things and grew sweet strawberries.
He lived peacefully ever after.
And every night, he would sit in his favorite chair…
wrap himself in a soft, warm blanket…
and remember his gentle adventure…
as his eyes grew heavier…
and heavier…
until he drifted off to sleep…
safe and cozy…
dreaming sweet dreams…
under the quiet stars.
