Delete Your Data

This page explains how to delete specific data from your Sleepfox account without deleting the account itself. Sleepfox is a bedtime-story app for families, managed by a parent or guardian who holds the account.

How to delete your data (in the app)

All data deletion is done inside the Sleepfox app, where you are securely signed in — so only the account owner can modify or delete their data.

Child profiles (name, age, preferences): Settings → Parent Zone → tap a child profile → Delete profile.

Voice recordings (cloned narration): Settings → Storyteller → tap the delete icon on a cloned voice → confirm.

Saved stories: Library → long-press or swipe a story → Delete.

Favorites: Tap the heart icon on any favorited story to un-favorite it. The story is removed from your favorites immediately.

What data is deleted

Each action permanently removes the specific data from our servers:

• Deleting a child profile removes their first name, age, and all personalization preferences for that profile.

• Deleting a voice recording removes the audio sample file stored on our servers for that voice.

• Deleting a story removes the story text, narration audio, and cover image.

• Removing a favorite removes only the bookmark; the underlying shared story is unaffected.

What data is kept

Your account, email address, subscription status, and purchase history are not affected by deleting individual data items. To delete everything including your account, use the full account deletion option in Settings > Account > Delete account.
